Recruiter / HR Generalist

The Recruiter / HR Generalist role will lead our hiring efforts while helping to foster a rewarding culture of continuous development and growth. In this role, you will work with hiring managers to identify the skills that are needed for specific roles. You will build a strong pipeline of talent, sourcing and filling positions with the highest caliber of candidates in a timely manner. You will also serve as the lead for all employee related inquiries.

Role Expectations

  • Facilitates the hiring process and consults with hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment strategies and tactics for all levels across the organization.

  • Partners with department leaders to attract and acquire a highly talented and diverse work force

  • Guides and trains managers in applicant screening and interviewing techniques to determine applicant qualifications, capabilities and experience.

  • Makes hiring and salary recommendations based on job profile, core competencies and organizational fit.

  • Supports strategic workforce planning vision and activities through sourcing externally as well as identifying internal candidate pools.

  • Facilitates hiring, promotions and internal transfers to ensure best qualified and diverse talent identification and utilization.

  • Screens, interviews and recommends prospective employees for employment.

  • Gathers and analyzes data with useful HR metrics, including salary benchmarking, time to hire and employee turnover rates.

  • Maintains awareness of organizational culture. Promotes a diverse and inclusive work environment with the support of Bypass’s Culture Committee.

  • Works with our partners to make recommendation on benefit options for our team.

  • Manages payroll preparation with acute attention to detail.

  • Provides support to employees in various HR-related topics and resolves any issues that may arise.

  • Conducts all work activities in accordance with client policies and applicable laws and regulations, as well as in alignment with client business objectives.

  • Performs new employees onboarding in connection with our Internal Trainer.


  • Four or more years of experience in human resources, including at least two years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and foster teamwork.

  • Ability to balance and manage competing high priority work demands.

  • Ability to maintain principles and act in an ethical manner at all times.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and responsibly at all levels within an organization while handling highly sensitive information.

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills verbal and written.

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment, wage and salary laws and regulations.
