Job Expectations

Create a detailed training outline for internal and client facing use that reflects the implementation of project deliverables, integrations, and scope

Design, deliver, and evaluate training and development programs by utilizing blended learning methods (instructor-led, e-learning, video, etc.) to support corporate initiatives

Develop training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials for all operations enhancement strategies

Travel as needed for implementations and other training needs in the field

Develop testing and evaluation systems to measure training outcomes

Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs                                 

Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of Bypass procedures and product standards

Provide performance improvement consulting to clients and their staff

Complete all client training remotely according to department standards and project scope.

This includes any combination of customer specific trainings, delivery of any customer specific documentation, recordings / training videos, and links to the Knowledge Base.

Demonstrate a high level of customer service to clients both remotely and on-site. The Sr. Training Specialist will conduct themselves in a professional manner, following all dress code, attendance, and performance guidelines. They will abide by and support all reasonable client requests on scope of work, and ensure all projects are completed on time.

Maintain a current understanding of Bypass software, hardware, and reference resources. The Sr. Training Specialist must have an expert working knowledge of all Bypass products. This includes the ability and effort to check and apply any new features deployed. Installation and troubleshooting skills must be at a high level.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline or a combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with knowledge equivalent to a major in such fields required.
  • 2-4 years of progressive training and development experience with demonstrated accomplishments in the areas of the ADDIE model; implementation including technical skills, customer service, and leadership development
  •  2-4 years of LMS creation and administration
  •  Demonstrate skills in group facilitation, performance improvement consulting, coaching, interpersonal effectiveness, and project management
  • Excellent communication (oral & written) and presentation skills
  • Ability to convey messages that are understood clearly by adopting a range of styles, tools and techniques appropriate to the audience and the nature of the information
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, managing multiple projects a different points in their lifecycles
  • Proficient in planning and organizing – forward thinking to establish an efficient and appropriate course of action in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge and practice of adult learning principles
  • Proficient in web-based learning technology (Captivate, Lectora, Articulate, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro
  • Experience in Point of Sale industry preferred.
  • Experience in Sports & Entertainment, Food & Beverage or Hospitality Management preferred.
  • Capable of working independently, as part of a team or leading a team.
  • Experience in Point of Sale industry preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (SalesForce), Project Management Software (Basecamp, JIRA/ Confluence) and Microsoft Office/Google G Suite is a plus.
